SOME AS BRIGHT AS STARS

SOME AS BRIGHT AS STARS

Some as bright as stars
some as hard as stone
inside and out unknown
until they shine once more

Some have chains that twist and turn
for better or for worse

And some in fluid flow
their gift in time to later find
they sleep beside the shore.

Still some light as air,
so fair;

they slip between the cracks
beware.
